Integrate the HCT Protocol into Your Program

What if you could add a comprehensive chronic pain program to your existing clinical services—without having to build one from the ground up?

HCT provides a proven program that can easily be integrated into an existing program or be used as a flagship program; to help more patients reach their goals, increase outcomes and provide an additional revenue stream.

Patient Outcomes and Potential Cost Savings

HCT has treated more than 500 patients with CRPS over approximately a decade. Reported outcomes demonstrate substantial reductions in pain accompanied by improvements in restorative sleep, quality of life, hope, and functional capacity.

These same statistical outcomes cross over to other complex chronic pain conditions too.  [i.e. fibromyalgia, central sensitization syndrome, centralized pain, Amplified Musculoskeletal Pain Syndrome, neuropathic pain, etc.]

Our one-year follow-up data shows an average reported pain decreased from 9.3/10 at baseline to 1.1/10 at one year—an 88.2% reduction.

At one year, patients reported average sleep quality of 8.1/10, quality of life of 8.9/10, and hope of 9.0/10.

For all demographics - a decrease in pain, improved function and earlier return to normal activities will have significant economic implications.

A successful program has the potential to reduce prolonged medication use, repeated interventions, fragmented specialty care, and other costs associated with persistent disability.  Actual savings would depend on patient population, payer arrangements, utilization patterns, and site-specific economics.

Additional Revenue Stream

Beyond the clinical opportunity, implementation of a dedicated multi-modality pain program can create an additional revenue stream for the organization or provider.

The program can expand services to an underserved patient population—including workers’ compensation, personal injury, and complex chronic pain patients—while utilizing existing clinical infrastructure and creating opportunities for new referral relationships.

A structured program also provides the potential for a clearly defined, premium outpatient service offering with measurable outcomes and an identifiable patient pathway.

Implementation Expertise

The HCT model has been developed and refined through extensive experience treating complex chronic pain patients in an outpatient environment.

We can provide protocol implementation, staff training, operational workflows, modality integration, patient-selection criteria, treatment protocols, and transition/consulting support.

The goal is to establish a program that is clinically structured, operationally sustainable, and capable of demonstrating measurable value to patients, providers, and payers.
